Soft Landing Program: How Science Parks Can Attract Global Startups
Expanding into a new country is one of the toughest challenges for startups. Legal hurdles, cultural differences, and talent gaps can stall even the most promising ventures. Science parks, however, can change that equation.
In this session, Mr. Tang Hao, Managing Director of Jiangsu Tuspark and President of IASP Asia-Pacific Division, will share the proven “SLP Soft Landing” framework that has enabled international ventures and talent to successfully establish in Nanjing and beyond.
Participants will gain:
- Barrier Insights – a clear view of the key challenges that global startups face when entering new markets.
- A Practical Framework – how a structured soft-landing program can provide one-stop support, from business registration to strategic partnerships.
- The ESG Edge – why embedding sustainability makes science parks magnets for the next generation of high-impact ventures.
This session will offer practical takeaways for science park leaders, policy makers, and ecosystem builders who want to strengthen their role as gateways for global innovation.
