Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association (Thai-BISPA)
Thai-BISPA is a non-profit organization initially comprised of Business Incubators and Science Parks in Thailand since 2009. We envision ourself as “A Leading Catalyst for Thailand’s Innovation Ecosystem.” We act as an ecosystem integrator playing an important role in capacity building and strengthening the management of business incubators, science parks and other innovation promoting organizations. In addition, we build supporting platforms and mechanisms to share knowledge and resources as well as networks. We represent our members in providing policy recommendations and liaising with government and industry at large.
Thai-BISPA is a not-for-profit organization initially comprised of Business Incubators and Science Parks in Thailand. The association is served as a focal point of collaboration, business networking and linkage, knowledge sharing, and capacity development and strengthening for business incubator centers and Science Parks operations in Thailand.

As a national focal point, the Association connects innovation stakeholders across public and private sectors, strengthening their potential and fostering sustainable, inclusive growth through science, technology, and innovation.
1. Driving Innovation Policy and Ecosystem Development
Thai-BISPA actively contributes to shaping and implementing national innovation policies in collaboration with key government agencies such as the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO).
The Association implements capacity-building initiatives that empower innovation intermediaries—including business incubators and science parks—to enhance their management systems and operational efficiency, positioning them as key mechanisms for driving Thailand’s innovation-based economy.
2. Enhancing Standards of Innovation Management
To improve the quality and efficiency of innovation support organizations, Thai-BISPA developed the Maturity Model for Innovation Intermediaries, a structured framework for self-assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement.
Through this model, the Association provides practical tools and guidance for incubators and science parks to enhance their performance.
Thai-BISPA also presents the BISPA Awards, recognizing outstanding organizations and entrepreneurs for their excellence in innovation management and research commercialization.
3. Strengthening Networks and Global Collaboration
Thai-BISPA serves as a connector of innovation networks both domestically and internationally through flagship initiatives such as:
- Co-incubation and Soft-Landing Programs, in partnership with global innovation hubs, facilitating Thai entrepreneurs’ access to international markets.
- Innovation Ecosystem Integration Initiative, positioning Thai-BISPA as a national connector linking business incubators and science parks nationwide and beyond.
- ASPA Annual Conference Co-organization, providing a regional platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration among innovation leaders across Asia-Pacific.
4. Promoting Innovation for Sustainability (ESG and Global Impact)
The Association integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its innovation development efforts.
Through the flagship initiative “Thailand’s Next Innovation Force – People Who Drive Innovation”, organized in collaboration with Sustainism Initiatives, Thai-BISPA promotes climate and biodiversity-focused innovation and supports entrepreneurs aiming for international expansion.
In parallel, the Association’s international linkage and co-incubation programs foster knowledge exchange, joint development, and global competitiveness among innovation-driven enterprises.

Thai-BISPA continues to enhance its internal management and operational capacity through strategic development across four key dimensions — Manpower, Organizational Management, Network, and Association Development.
