Technical Visits at ASPA 2025

As part of the ASPA 2025 experience, participants will have the opportunity to join technical visits that offer an inside look at Thailand’s innovation landscape.

This curated visit is designed to:

  • Showcase cutting-edge R&D and industrial innovation environments
  • Highlight real-world examples of science and technology park ecosystems
  • Foster dialogue between participants and local innovation leaders

The technical tours offer a unique opportunity to gain practical insights into how Thailand supports startups, research collaboration, and sustainable development.

Discover Thailand’s leading science and innovation ecosystem through guided visits inside Thailand Science Park.

To ensure hands-on access and smooth scheduling, the tours are divided into three themed routes.

Route A: Food & Agriculture Technology

Stops: BIOTEC Bioprocessing Facility (BBF), NPV Lab (Biotec Pilot Plant), AQUA Culture Biotec Pilot Plant

What you’ll gain:

  • Real-world examples of how bioprocessing reduces industrial costs and risks.

Route B: Environmental & Biotechnology​

Stops: National Biobank of Thailand (NBT), Thailand Bioresource Research Center (TBRC), Plant Factory (INC 2)

 What you’ll gain:

  • A deeper understanding of how biodiversity resources support innovation and sustainability.
  • Inspiration from advanced plant factory systems reshaping future agriculture.

Route C: Digital & Material Innovation

Stops: MTEC, NSTDA Supercomputer Center (ThaiSC)

 What you’ll gain:

  • See how smart agricultural materials use light engineering to enhance crop growth and reduce chemical use.
  • Explore Thailand’s most powerful computing infrastructure supporting computational science research, including computer modeling, computational chemistry, bioinformatics, climate change studies, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data.
