The Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) is an international non-governmental organization and was established in Japan in 1997. Its mission is to foster the development of scientific and industrial technologies, as well as to promote economic development in Asia.
To strengthen connections across diverse sectors such as industry, technology, culture, and education, ASPA hosts various events every year, such as an annual conference, an international board meeting, and business meetings. These events serve as dynamic platforms for international networks, where experts from science parks, related institutions, universities, and enterprises exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and build cross-border collaborations.
Our goal is contribution to the mutual growth and innovation of each region through shared industrial and economic resources and increasing the opportunities for collaboration such as technology exchange and joint business ventures.
ASPA Annual Conference
As the flagship event of ASPA, the Annual Conference is held each year across the Asia region. For the past 27 years, it has brought together stakeholders from innovative organizations such as science and technology parks (STPs), research parks, business incubators, universities, academic institutions, and start-ups throughout Asia. The conference offers participants valuable insights into the latest science and technology trends, access to regional innovation know-how, and meaningful opportunities to expand their professional networks across Asia.
