Thailand’s Regional Science Parks
Unlocking Doors to the World of Innovation Enhancing the Future of Thai Businesses

Regional Science Parks (RSP), under the supervision of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, (OPS), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), contribute significantly to fostering University-Industry Linkage. This is achieved through various operational mechanisms and collaborations, leveraging scientific infrastructure, research and development (R&D), and the transfer of knowledge from higher education institutions to communities. This support and promotion aim to advance technology, products, and innovation, as well as incubate entrepreneurs to elevate the potential of Thai businesses, enabling them to overcome limitations and compete internationally.
Since the Thai Government has invested in science and technology infrastructure in regional universities across Thailand, these institutions have therefore consequently emerged as rich sources of knowledge in diverse fields. These include, for instance, food innovation, processed agriculture, medical technology, and many other technological areas. This is combined with their readiness in terms of science and technological infrastructure, available tools, laboratories, personnel, government support, and comprehensive service systems for entrepreneurs and startups.
